Deric BartonManaging Member
Deric Barton is a fourth-generation local, born and raised on Colorado’s Western Slope. He joined Umbrella Roofing in 2011, became Managing Member in 2021, and is one of the company’s three owners. With nearly two decades of helping customers find the right, lasting solution, he has shaped Umbrella’s customer-first approach from first consultation to final walkthrough. He and his wife are raising their three daughters in the community they call home.

Jake Borah
Jake BorahManaging Member
Jake Borah is a fifth-generation native of Colorado’s Eagle Valley who started roofing in 1993 alongside his father in the family business. He joined Umbrella Roofing in 2010 and, with Josh Yandle, built the company’s Vail Valley division from the ground up. Today he is a co-owner and Production Manager, bringing more than 30 years of mountain roofing experience to every project. Off the roof, his life centers on family and the outdoors.

Josh Yandle
Josh YandleManaging Member
Josh Yandle was born and raised in Eagle and started at Umbrella Roofing as a laborer in 2010. He learned the trade on service and repair work, moved into estimating in the Aspen market, then helped launch Umbrella’s Vail Valley operation from a 1,200-square-foot garage. Today he is a co-owner known for complex custom roofs, DaVinci composite, copper, and award-winning snow retention systems across Colorado’s mountain communities.
